HENDERSON WOMAN ATTACKED BY NEIGHBOR'S PIT BULLS

A Henderson woman was standing in her driveway with her dog talking with a neighbor when she and her dog were suddenly attacked by two pit bulls who had gotten loose from the neighbor's yard across the street. The dogs had a history of running loose in the neighborhood and had chased other neighbors. The woman suffered multiple puncture wounds in her hands. Her dog was killed by the pit bulls. One of the pit bulls finally let lose of the woman's dog when a neighbor repeatedly struck the dog with a 2x4 board.
